Instagram delivers stories only to logged-in users. Nabbly can therefore load stories only when an operator access is configured on the server – which is not always the case. If the feature is currently unavailable, a corresponding message appears after you paste the link. Photos, carousels and reels always work regardless.
Stories disappear after 24 hours and are shown by Instagram only to logged-in users. Nabbly does not bypass any login. Why stories differ from posts and reels
Photos, carousels and reels are public posts that Instagram delivers to everyone, even without an account. Stories, on the other hand, are visible for only 24 hours and are sent exclusively to logged-in users. A downloader can therefore fetch them only through its own logged-in access. For that Nabbly uses – if at all – an access of the operator, never yours. Because Instagram can block such accesses at any time, the feature is explicitly marked as available to a limited extent.
You save your own stories most reliably in the Instagram app itself: the three dots in the story offer “Save”, and the archive keeps all your own stories automatically.
Alternatives that always work
If the story was saved as a highlight in the profile, it stays visible permanently, but likewise only to logged-in users.
